Position Summary
Seeking qualified providers (MD, DO, PA, or NP) with an interest and passion for assisting pre-licensure PA students in developing clinical competence and critical thinking skills in a variety of clinical learning environments.
Clinical instructors will facilitate and supervise 1-2 PA students per rotation in obtaining clinical skills and medical knowledge to provide medical care in a variety of clinical settings.

Minimum Required Education and Experience
A relevant training degree is required. Must hold an active state license as MD, DO, PA, or relevant NP training and have at least one year of clinical experience. Physicians must also be board certified in their area of practice. NP example—a psychiatric mental health NP can provide a behavioral medicine experience, or a board-certified pediatrician can provide a pediatric experience.
Required Other Training, Certifications, or Licensing
Must hold an active state license and appropriate board certification as above
Permission of the clinical site to host students (affiliation agreement required)

Job Duties
- Clinical instructors will facilitate and supervise 1-2 PA students per rotation in obtaining clinical skills and medical knowledge to provide medical care in one of the following medical settings: -Pediatrics: 6-week experiences -Inpatient Medicine (hospitalist): 6-week experiences -Women's Health: 3-week experiences
- The preceptor assesses student performance during clinical experiences using provided evaluation tools and provides constructive feedback for growth: -Demonstrates effective clinical skills according to evidence-based practices. -Serves as a professional role model for students and fosters a positive and -professional learning environment that respects diversity, equity, and inclusion.
