Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated IT Architect to work in this deeply collaborative team environment designing, implementing, and managing robust and sustainable IT systems and services that align with our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in IT project management, service management, systems administration, and endpoint management, coupled with hands-on experience in tools such as ServiceNow, Halo, or FreshDesk, and endpoint management platforms like Microsoft Intune, BigFix, or JAMF. Proficiency with Microsoft Active
Directory and familiarity with ITIL practices are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities will include:
IT Project Management:
- Plan, lead, and execute IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, scope, and deliverables for IT initiatives.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and resources effectively to ensure project success.
Service Management:
- Utilize ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Halo, or FreshDesk to oversee service request workflows, incident resolution, and change management.
- Design and implement ITIL-aligned processes to enhance service delivery and user satisfaction.
- Develop and monitor performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement of IT services.
Systems Administration:
- Administer and optimize enterprise systems, including HaloITSM, PaperCutMF, and FortiEMS, ensuring availability, scalability, and security.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates to maintain operational excellence.
- Create and enforce policies for access control, authentication, and data protection.
Endpoint Management:
- Assist in the management of endpoint devices (desktops, laptops, mobile devices) using tools such as Microsoft Intune, BigFix, or JAMF, as well as Microsoft Group Policy.
- Deploy and maintain endpoint configurations, automated patch policies, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Implement security best practices to safeguard endpoint devices against vulnerabilities.
IT Architecture and Strategy:
- Design IT solutions that align with business goals and support scalability and innovation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and technology upgrades to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT solutions.
ITIL Practices:
- Apply ITIL frameworks to standardize and optimize IT service management processes.
- Drive initiatives in incident management, problem management, and service improvement.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence by promoting ITIL best practices such as Change Enablement throughout the organization
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 3-5 years of experience are required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential:
- Proven experience in IT project management, service management, systems administration, and endpoint management.
- Hands-on experience in supporting/working with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Halo, or FreshDesk.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory and endpoint management tools such as Intune, BigFix, or JAMF.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks and their application in IT service management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience in implementation/administration of ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Halo, or FreshDesk.
- ITIL v4 certification
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Experience in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS) and virtualization platforms.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security practices and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar project management software.
Advanced certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, or relevant vendor certifications) are a plus.
