Assistant/Associate Professor - Educational Technology and Instructional Design

Primary Purpose of Position:
Teaching campus and online classes in the Educational Technology and Instructional Design graduate programs, student advisement, supervision of practicum and field experiences, participation in school, university and professional service, and scholarly activities.

Minimum Education/Experience:
Minimum Education/Experience:

Completed Ph.D. or equivalent in Educational Technology or Instructional Design (or closely related discipline) by position start date (ABD may be considered).
Demonstrated record of or strong potential for achievement in teaching, academic research, and service commensurate with experience.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with others.
Experience working with a variety of audiences.
Excellent written communication skills.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant licensure and credentials in Educational Technology and Instructional Design.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Candidates will possess an earned doctorate from a regionally accredited institution. Candidates must demonstrate potential for effective teaching in Educational Technology and/or Instructional Design; research and service; and activity in appropriate professional organizations and/or societies. Strong interpersonal skills, strong identity as educational technology/instructional design educator, and excellent organizational and communication skills are expected.
